Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

1. What Redline Is

Redline is an AI-powered contract review tool for freelancers. It flags potentially risky clauses, explains them in plain English, and suggests questions to discuss with your client.

2. Not Legal Advice

Redline is a drafting aid, not a law firm. Nothing in the service constitutes legal advice. AI output may contain errors or miss nuances specific to your jurisdiction. For high-value contracts or complex legal matters, consult a licensed attorney.

3. Your Account

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of any contract text you submit. We process it solely to generate your review. We do not use your contract text to train AI models. Reviews are stored in your account so you can access your history.

5. Payments & Refunds

Free-tier users receive a limited number of reviews. Pro subscriptions are billed as one-time payments processed through Razorpay. If you're unsatisfied within 7 days of purchase, contact us for a refund.

6. Acceptable Use

Don't use Redline to process documents you don't have the right to share, attempt to reverse-engineer the service, or abuse the API with automated bulk requests beyond normal usage.

7. Limitation of Liability

Redline is provided “as is” without warranty. We are not liable for decisions you make based on AI-generated reviews. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding any claim.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Redline after changes constitutes acceptance. We'll notify users of material changes via email.
